As House Republicans continue their 6 week vacation, I’m back in Washington D.C. working to re-open the government.

It is outrageous that Republicans refuse to re-open the House!

Thanks Elon! After all of your cuts and dismantling of government agencies, spending is up 9%. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that the government will borrow $1.1 trillion in the first seven months of FY 2025. Must be the $3.4 million it costs for "his" weekend trips to Mar a Lago.

Republican leadership scheduled the hearing on their reckless reconciliation bill at 1:00 am — because they know the public would never support it in the light of day.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social are here to shine a light on this tax scam and fight for everyday Americans.

Currently reading Edmund Morris's book "Theodore Rex" about the presidency of Teddy Roosevelt. I find it eerily similar to what we are experiencing today. Not surprised since "47" thinks this was the time America was great. It's worth the read. Anyway...I just saw this image of "him." Nuff said.

I went to the Senate floor to tell a story about Trump’s first 100 days - a story of daily, norm shattering corruption.

I laid out 40 different corrupt acts - each one alone could have taken down previous presidents.

1/ A 🧵 of my speech. People need to know this story.
