If this was the rifle used and not some random guy getting arrested on his way to the range I'm not surprised. Pretty basic hunting rifle safe for the suppressor.

Early hours, but it’s striking that the shooter hasn’t even been officially described yet. In other U.S. political shootings this century, the gunman was killed or captured almost immediately.
Information environment has reached its grotesque conclusion in that there is a very real killer out there who has not been identified, apprehended, or investigated, a detail practically inconsequential to nearly every commentator’s purposes.
