When it's individual MPs, they will post where they think their communications can reach more of their constituents.
And there are currently so many platforms out there, that an established site is likely to see them reach more constituents than a newer site.

Most certainly is.
And Instagram.
Posts by the Labour party or senior MPs are full of nasty comments.
It definitely seems targeted.
And it needs calling out.
I try to do it on the posts of my local MP when the racists raise their head.

I would have gone with a percentage of savings payment with a cap.
If you save us £10m a year you get 1% of that. If you save £100m, then you get 1% of that.
Of course there could also be min and max numbers.
Or you just don't do it at all, as there are likely few savings left to make.

As the link posted by another user shows, there are many new rules restricting the right to buy on new social homes. It was one of the first changes to housing Labour announced when they got into power.

I tend to take issue when those things happen, especially when listening to the radio and people very poorly enunciate their words or speak so fast you cannot understand them.
But I don't have either issue with this clip. I thought she spoke very carefully and clearly.

We are perhaps a year or so out I'd imagine.
Could depend on the type of legislation - if a bill then the longer end, if regulations, it could be quicker.
Also, how long does it take to write and implement a code of conduct?
So I'd be surprised if it were before 2027.

+ consistent use of rules on expected behaviour through a mandatory code of conduct
+ standards committees & a national appeals process
The government plans to bring forward the necessary legislation to Parliament in due course.

Yes and if you cannot run a council how on earth can people be expected to run a whole country.

Well it is happening.
Between July 2024 and July 2025 the number of NHS staff increased by around 30k or 2%.
We know this includes about 1500 more GPs (about a 3% increase).
And actually the overall increase in clinical staff was about 3.9%.

Unfortunately, there are set time scales for it.
However soon you start the process, the new charter would only ever come into force on 1st Jan 2028.
