Super weird way to say "rich people like me are all sociopaths and shouldn't be allowed to weird as much power in our society as we do"
Want to use rich people like me to your advantage? Incent us to help those who need it the most. Lower corp taxes for comps that pay a min of $25 per hour. Lower corp taxes if employees get stock at the same pct as the CEO.

Bottom up incentives work. Dems never innovate. They bitch

Bunch of 30 year old high-school kids beating the shit out of each other for literally no reason.

Caught Monster Island on @shudder.com. its a pretty entertaining, low-budget monster flick. Im a sucker for practical effects, so I enjoyed it.

And if Saito and Bronson can put aside their differences and come together to fight a monster, maybe there's hope for the rest of us after all.

I feel this in my bones. Im so tired of everything.
I'm feeling unwell.
Not ill, not unhealthy.

Soul sick.
I'm tired of the human race, honestly.
I'm certain there is good in us.

I'm just not convinced we want it be the default setting.
We're too consumed with outrage, rage bait and seeing enemies everywhere.

I'm tired of all this. Sick to death.

Watching Jaws at lunch. Such a great film. Im honestly surprised nobody has tried to remake it.

This is not a suggestion, btw.

This dead woman keeps stabbing her inexplicably sharp fingernails into throats. Unconventional, but effective. #LivingDeadGirl

In 1999 I watched Jeremy Piven get rejected by my 19yo next-door neighbor at a bar in Beverly Hills
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Bring Her Back is a great film with incredible performances by the young stars. It's also bleak and sad and I'm pretty sure I'll never watch it again. #horrorSky #horror

When I saw Mia Sara in the Life of Chuck trailer it made me irrationally happy. Brought back all kinds of good memories, which is just one the best things about film. It's not just the stories you remember, but the act of watching them.

Watching Children of the Corn. I am simultaneously very creeped out and fighting the urge to quit my corporate job and play beach volleyball... #horrorsky

Sinners is an incredible movie with one scene that, if done wrong, could have ruined the whole vibe of the movie. Luckily, it was Ryan Coogler in charge, and he nailed it.

This and Black Bag are the 2 best films of the year, so far. Go see it.

Stop calling Fox News "state media"

It's Trump/Republican media. If it was state media, they'd pull this same nonsense when a Democrat is in office.

For people so totally obsessed with image and looking tough, it's like they never look in the mirror before going outside. Dude looks like child reaching for his mom's hand.

Harry Waters is one of my favorite villains of all time. And one of my favorite Ralph Finnes performances.

People really need to chill out with reading into the politics of a movie where people have wingsuits and turn into giant rage monsters. Bitching about the color of the President's tie? For fucks sake, relax.

The Gorge is incredible. I loved it. But, @scottderrickson.bsky.social and @crobertcargill.bsky.social, those skull spiders. You should know you're responsible for the inevitable nightmare I have later. Well done.

The people who are critiquing Captain America: Brave New World for its socio-political commentary also probably watch Deep Blue Sea through a lens of medical ethics regarding animal based research

For some reason, my feed is filled to the brim with people talking about soccer. It's very confusing, but kinda interesting too.
