I work for a place that actively does this, in addition to never saying anything that may upset the administration, in hopes of maybe securing a tariff exemption for industry even though there isn't a chance in hell of it happening. It's revolting.

One of my imaginations of hell is being stuck in that situation over and over again for eons until the devil tempts me with reprieve only for it to be becoming the person who asks the question...

I was part way through a movie the other day and my best friend called. I told her what I was watching and she said "the one where they all die?" And I replied "I dont know, but i guess I'll find out" and hung up.

Absolutely. When you read about how much it would cost to feed all the needy schoolchildren for a year or house every homeless vet and it's like the same amount that Jeff Bezos makes every 37 minutes, it's infuriating. If you had the means, how could you not do something like that?

She definitely could if she wanted to. I wonder about what her politics really are, given who she pals around with, versus what she puts out there. But the super-rich are a different breed, and I can't begin to understand their decision-making process.

Not sure if this is sarcasm, but if not this is objectively false. Her charity work and giving are well documented and extensive, going back to the beginning of her career. I think she's kinda weird, but this is one thing she does right.

Genuine question, because I see this a lot and on one level I understand and I agree. Im not ok with a lot of what he says and does. But if its Vance v Newsome in 2028, who do you pick?
