Long trip home & started with a nice encounter. I was wearing my Saskatchewan hat & had several people congratulating me on their win. One really stood out since it was Dohnte Meyers dad. Of course we extended our congratulations to him as well & spent the next 20 minutes just talking about family

Does staying up until after 1:00 AM quality as a wild night. For me it does, & it was worth it. Great experience, all week long.

Crazy experience tonight. Walking back to our hotel after dinner we ended up next to a couple of Roughrider players. As my wife spoke to one of them the other extended his hand towards me & said, “I’m Trevor”. Yep, Trevor Harris introduced himself to me & all I could come up with is, “I know”

Had the entire TSN crew in the lobby with me this morning. I asked Henoc if it would be ok to take a photo. He said go for it & he would take the heat for it. Well, I rushed, took two photos & this was the best. My photo carrier ended quickly.

Last post is a friendly response to a Bomber fan who passed by me when I was sitting in the lobby with my Riders jersey one. “Go Riders” he called out & I gave him a thumbs up, & with that he said, “Go Home”. Joking no doubt, but it was a bit rude too.

So, a little update with last nights activity & this morning. Coach Mace siting first, then a lot of supporting cast, next came the players & then Kate walked by. Looked to be heading for a morning workout. Yep, lobby’s a great hang out spot.

Wires in my brain don’t quite connect like most people’s. While waiting for a flight there was a young man softly playing his guitar in the background, beautifully I might add. No, he wasn’t playing song “Killing me Softly…” but in my head that’s what made the connection.

Football beyond the NFL has really been shaken up over the past couple of weeks. The CFL made major changes to their field dimensions, goal post location, & some rule adjustments. Then this week the UFL identifies three of its current cities that it won’t be returning to. Things are a changing!
