but at the same time, the cover/first few panels being a girl in purple who might be the administrator with dead parents lying around is enough to give us an idea of why shed want revenge, without harping on about it and taking away from the whimsy of team fortress 2.

the administrator clearly always had some sort of revenge plan leading up to #7, i think the choice not to fully disclose what her motivations were was to further show how pointless the entire conflict is

Like, yes, obviously it was always going to turn out to be pointless – this is Team Fortress 2! – but that could have been achieved simply by having the reason for it turn out to be incredibly stupid. They didn't *have* to get meta with it, and that they did feels like somebody is Making A Point™.

i cant wait to find out more about clover and santa in particular, i also basically avoided june the entire game so i look forward to playing it the "right" way :D
