I have to admit, from a purely technological standpoint, generative AI is pretty cool. It's also very interesting to play with it to try to get it to do what you want it to do.

600+ people took a walk together down Main Street in Livingston this afternoon. I was #532 to pass the person with a clicker who was counting. Our population is about 8,000.
(Maybe a dozen grumpy sourpusses on the other side of the street. They only yelled at the stragglers on ours.)

I really wish @buehlmeister.bsky.social's word "girleen" was in common English usage, because it would make it a hell of a lot easier to write fantasy concerning unmarried young women without saying "unmarried young woman," or something obnoxious like "maiden."

Last night I dreamed I ate a pot brownie and got super high. In the dream, I felt chill and fuzzy and happy. That is to say, I felt well-stoned. Then I woke up as per usual, without any aftereffects or the paranoia that explain why I don't actually eat pot brownies.
