Every year, starting on the last Sunday in May, Canadians celebrate National AccessAbility Week. Nova Scotia was the first province to officially recognize Access Awareness Week in 1988 and was inspired by Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour.

Nova Scotia Provincial Wheelchair Curling Championship will be held February 21-23 at the Lakeshore Curling Club in Lower Sackville. We will be facing a best-of-5 series against a team from the Sydney Curling Clhb. The winning team will represent Nova Scotia at the National Tournament in Quebec!

Trying out new delivery mechanism for better line. The ice was not the best, which made weight hard to determine. I did make a great draw, coming around the guard. Gotta love making these shots. NO SWEEPING IN WHEELCHAIR CURLING!
