Delta Air Lines said it was offering $30,000 to each passenger aboard the flight from Minneapolis that crashed and flipped upside down this week while trying to land in Toronto.

House arrest is still a form of incarceration. Neither the Canadian nor American governments have rectified the wrongs they committed against Peltier & his community. But as Peltier himself has said, house arrest is a million times better than what he was living in (prison).
This morning, Leonard Peltier was released from over 49 years of wrongful incarceration. Peltier is an enrolled citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians and will reside on his Tribal homelands in North Dakota.
