This is Senator Jim Banks from Indiana. No need to tell you he’s a Republican—it’s clear by the cruel disdain he shows his own constituent who was laid off.

Note: he waits until the door’s about to close before telling him he deserved it & calling him a “clown.”

He’s not just cruel—he’s a coward.

Balaji Srinivasan suggests giving Elon Musk “control of a huge swath of land surrounding Starbase, Texas” & designate that land as “a military base or … similar, so that [Musk] can fence it off & determine at his sole discretion who can enter.” Then replicate in other states w/ other Tech Bros. 1/

House Republicans just voted to gut Medicaid, which covers 1 in 5 Americans overall, including 41% of births and 63% of nursing home care.

They also just voted to gut SNAP, on which 41 million food insecure Americans rely.

This won’t just harm people. This will kill people.

They own this.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) is a longtime friend of RFK, Jr. and reportedly has not yet committed to voting against him.

Personal friendship are not relevant to whether a nut job like RFK, Jr. is qualified.

One of my all-time favorite native shrubs in the PNW is pacific ninebark. It is a pollinator magnet. The one pictured is now as tall as a small tree. Swallowtail butterfly, black-tailed and yellow-faced bumbles.

PNW (pacific northwest) native plant lover here. Over the past 8 years, I have sheet mulched much of my lawn. Thought I would show you my front yard before and after. I now have an arbor and paths winding through my front yard. Perfect for photographing insects in the warmer months.
