Just learned that the murderer had a rap sheet a mile long. Good to get this context. Better street design is for sure always needed, but this dude should have been locked up with key discarded. No respect for life or civil society here.

Welp, the planet is cooked but at least my dog gets a second chance at last river swim of the year.

Aurora in St. Paul right now!

Sorry it’s screenshots, but this is a small sampling of why I supported Her. It comes down to integrity, listening, and following through. We battled the mayors office endless for the last two years and I’m ready for a break.

Whatever happens in the next 8-12 hours, I hope Melvin recognizes that 59% of voters in this city don’t like what he’s doing.

Great piece. Have you seen what they did to this walkway here? Can’t find my photo of it right now, but the highway dept put in those tall fences on both sides of the trail, creating a creepy tunnel effect. Trail is still open but it feels way less safe walking alone especially.

So heartbreaking and infuriating. I’m tired of reading stories like this seemingly every week. When we don’t listen to women, women die.

Nailed it.

My office is stunning today.

Amy Klobuchar using early retirees as her pity case about ACA subsidies. Unreal. Looks like the Democrats war on working people continues.

The wasted potential of St. Paul’s riverfront is such a gut punch at times like this. Beautiful evening, stunning views, not a place to grab a drink or bite for probably a half mile, even further if I wanted to find something actually open on a Sunday night.

So pumped to read Cory Doctorow’s new book.

But things are just peachy in the Melvin Carter administration, right?

Loooooool. Someone I’ve never met or ever engaged with online has blocked me. Ah, this app is great. 10/10! We’re definitely gonna bridge those deep divides over here on BlueSky, lol.

Saw some baby snapping turtles along the river today, so that was pretty cool.

God it’s so true it’s painful. I watched this happen while doing climate justice organizing in eastern Washington. You cannot start meetings with wheat farmers with a pronoun circle and a land acknowledgement.

I know that posting something from a Republican on this platform basically makes me a “Fascist Nazi”, but he’s right. And the arrogance that Tim Walz is running for a third term after this monstrous failure is stunning to me.

How fucking tone deaf could you be right now? This guy had 14 prior convictions. How’d that work out? Funny that it’s almost always women who get murdered by these violent monsters who should have been locked away years ago.

Yiiiiiiikes.
Must be pretty dire to pre-release a vague statement like this.

Could not agree more.

Perfectly describes my BlueSky feed right now.
