From today’s #50501 rally in Washington, DC. The patriotism and earnestness were off the charts. And that’s not a bad thing.
As a liberal who learned how to do much of her activism from anarchists though, let’s just say this wasn’t my usual milieu and I struggled a bit. (and that’s OK too)

If I could ask everyone for a HUGE favor today. Please use 5calls to contact your representatives. Ask them to support the NIH and NSF and work to reverse the decision to cap their funding. These cuts will devastate research institutions and jeopardize scientific progress. 5calls.org/issue/nih-ns...
