Leigh Wambsganss outspent Taylor Rehmet 10 to 1 in a district Trump won by +17 points. A Trump endorsement is becoming more toxic with every election. I love that for Republicans.

Federal agents outnumber local police by a ratio of 5 to 1. How does the federal government expect local police to provide protection for them? This is exactly why federal agents should coordinate all of their efforts with local officials instead of coming in as if they are invading the city.
Scalise lies: "The want to defund ICE. They defunded police. The police chief of Mpls said yesterday multiple times how stretched thin his department is. They don't have enough people because Mpls defunded the police." (Police were not defunded and MPD is stretched thin bc of unrest caused by ICE)

I hope this regime keeps talking about the legal gun Alex Pretti was carrying. Those who live and breathe the 2A should see the rhetoric coming from the WH and other officials as a MAJOR concern about their own right to carry.

The National Basketball Players Association releases a statement following the Trump regime’s murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, saying that NBA players “can no longer remain silent.”

The NBPA is standing up for free speech, civil liberties, and the people of Minnesota demanding justice.

The choice could not be more clear. It is not about party. It is about the very survival of our republic. I know what side I am on. And I'm fighting for it every day.

What about you?
Walz: What side do you want to be on? The side of an all powerful federal government that can kill, injure, menace and kidnap its citizens off the streets or on the side of a nurse at the V.A. who died bearing witness to such government

Thank you for holding the line and fighting for your constituents @vanhollen.senate.gov and @alsobrooks.senate.gov! No deal that doesn’t include the one year extension of ACA subsidies. The majority of Americans want this and Tuesday’s election results affirm that we the people have your backs!

If there are truly 100 republicans who are ready to vote along with Democrats to demand full transparency on the Epstein files, then only 1 is needed to sign Reps. Massie and Khanna’s discharge petition today. Until then, I don’t believe a single one of them cares. #EpsteinFiles
DOJ Admits to Republicans That Epstein Files Are Even Worse for Trump
Details in the files are reportedly even more damning for Donald Trump than previously indicated—and it was already bad.

There. I fixed it.

The refurbished Lincoln bathroom now looks just like his bathroom at Mar A Lago.

Raise your hand if you know who was president in 2020.

Hint: he’s currently president.

Rise up. Speak up. Be counted. Find a #NoKings rally near you. We cannot let nearly 250 years of democracy die on our watch. We must exercise our 1A rights — not only for us but for the generations who will come after us.
The Trump regime’s constant onslaught of cruelty and mounting threats can be scary and demoralizing. That’s their intent.

But the people won’t bow down. On Saturday, we’re gonna speak out on a grander scale than Trump has ever seen. Find a peaceful protest: www.nokings.org?SQF_SOURCE=i... #NoKings

Day one of the #RepublicanShutdown.
In the last 30 years, there have been seven shutdowns (including this one). Four of those have occurred under Trump - including the longest one in history that lasted 34 days.
Republicans have control of the House, Senate and the White House. A shutdown means the president is weak. #MDIndivisible

I have an idea! Follow the money as it relates to Jeffrey Epstein.
Keep us updated on the proof that Qatar, Iran, etc is financing American protestors of Trump.

I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

It certainly appears the United States murdered an innocent fisherman who was a husband and father to four children, claimed he was a "narco-terrorist," posted a video of the execution, and then made jokes about it

Where is @schumer.senate.gov? He is absent. Thankfully we have governors like @govwesmoore.bsky.social, @govpritzker.illinois.gov, @gavinnewsom.bsky.social that are pushing back on Trump’s planned military occupation of our cities. Because Democratic leadership is MIA. #RemoveSchumer

This reminds me of a quote and it seems appropriate in the context of citizens taking back their communities from the ICE Gestapo:

I’m taking the advice of @hcrichardson.bsky.social and will start flooding the zone with true representations of what America stands for. And this is a great example. Mayor Wu stands tall by standing up for our communities. #WeAreAmerica
Last week, Boston received a letter from AG Bondi threatening to prosecute officials and withhold funds unless we cooperate with carrying out mass deportations.

The US Attorney General asked for a response by today, so here it is: stop attacking our cities to hide your administration’s failures.

More people in Ohio need protection from violent crime than there are people in D.C.
Governors of three states — Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia — are sending members of their state National Guards to D.C. to … well, theoretically to combat crime but, if the past week is any in...
