I, uh, have accidentally done that before with water color paint water. (And looking at the photo, it does look like diluted blue ink. Luckily I use pens with black and green ink for my fiction/creative writing, so no confusion with the blue tea.)

Oooh, yeah I've seen some pretty pea flower gins! One year, it was an easy gift for my mom who loves all things purple & was excited to try purple gin.

That is a very specific Internet era (pour one out for LJ!) & yes! 75% cringe!

Thank you! I like the eternal date header in the notebook & am having fun with fountain pens & the tea is an herbal blend with pea flower (which brews that beautiful blue in hot water), lemongrass & a few other herbs that give it a mellow flavor that's like drinking summertime!

Crashing characters together is such fun! I also love playing with character dynamics & getting them to crack (emotionally) at key moments to get that satisfying arc arcing!

I hear you! I get to a point where I need to smooth. (I also want to count the so-called "wasted" words, so I either strikethrough, cut & paste them to a RIP section, or just start a new draft depending on the stage & length of the project.)

The urge to "correct" as you go along...I feel it!

Today's goal is to outline each of their character arcs & the arc of a plot catalyst character who's threatening to make the duo a trio. (I am weak to the particular "threat" they present.)

CW: Food
My current project is a fantasy romance set in a location that's loosely based on WA state's Olympic Peninsula. My first week's project-inspired recipe was portobello mushrooms stuffed with sautéed spinach, walnut & roasted garlic ricotta, & caremelized onions.
