Getting a late start to this month's #NovelGauntlet challenge. (Weekdays continue to be difficult writing days for me.) But! It is a gorgeous sunny day & that means BACKYARD WRITING TIME! Going old school for this zero draft to see if handwriting helps me resist the urge to go back & rework stuff.

I'm vroyce here & on Discord but am relatively quiet (but I'm working on being more social & less hermit-y!)

I like the discovery aspect of uncovering things about my characters & world kicking around in my subconscious until the right "thing" in the story pulls them up to the conscience level. & when I do get to revising I love making it all fit together. #GauntletChat

Started in on CAN'T SPELL TREASON WITHOUT TEA by Rebecca Thorne yesterday & getting one chapter in before settling in to write my own cozy fantasy featuring magic & tea. Loving it so far! 💙📚
