This (and the OpenAI paper) are a must-read. Proof of what many suspected; hallucinations are a consequence of requiring a “certain-seeming” answer and the correct approach is obviously a confidence interval. Unfortunately game studies have a large volume of research how this works psychologically.

The texts were sent to a group called “Mass Text” and show ICE using DMV and license plate reader data in an attempt to find their target, copies of the messages obtained by 404 Media show.
