This isn’t just any professor being violent. This is the product of shared governance being dismantled.
The AAUP condemns the attack of a journalist at OSU.

This incident is a predictable consequence of the dismantling of widely accepted practices of academic shared governance.

How?

The assailant is an employee of the Chase “intellectual diversity” center which has limited accountability to OSU.

Our January chapter meeting drew nearly 50 people, as faculty keep looking for spaces to speak and act freely. The meeting focused on: launching a labor campaign centered on Non-Tenure-Track faculty & getting OSU faculty involved in community and campus initiatives against ICE. Stay tuned for more!
