Built Niko a Triple Triad deck tonight and experienced why it's dangerous to cultivate shared headcanon universes with your buddies because every time I'd make a solid play (Squall in the upper-left, for example) I would be like

Azem rock summon becomes a button that can be assigned to a hotbar. On command you can summon Emet-Selch like a retainer, causing him to say one of several lines such as "I'm SLEEPING" or "This AGAIN?" or "I said NO" before disappearing again.
Rock CD is 15 seconds.

possibly unpopular opinion but I genuinely think the Fall Guys / Blunderville event is some of the worst content #ffxiv has ever added to the game

Thinking about Summer in Marcelverse's Eighth Umbral Calamity frantically writing like Alexander Hamilton because she knows the work of fixing the timeline will outlive her, and of Thancred preserving it, and of the Exarch later showing it to Thancred on the First as a way of gaining his trust

This is another of those things that I feel like I'm always trying to put my finger on when I say "it feels like the writers of Dawntrail just didn't care". I'm not even a SCH enjoyer and I'm mad they got nothing special about Archive and Iris, like that's literally the whole plot of SCH 30-60???
Also, this is less a "they got it wrong" and more a "this was a missed opportunity", but I will die mad about the fact that there was not one single bit of custom dialog acknowledging I had BLM leveled (or any references to it at all) during the Endwalker patches. War of the Magi who, apparently.
