Also also, I think Granada got one of the worst typography treatments out of all the regions. It literally looks like someone opened Word 97 and typed the name out in the default Times New Roman. With apologies to @sgordonthe87.bsky.social for stealing a screenshot from one of his videos.

Fifty years ago today, Radio 1 held a "Fun Day" at Mallory Park. This day was seared into the memory of John Peel. He recalled his experience for the Radio 1 Story documentary in 1997.

A very happy 40th anniversary to the BBC1 COW symbol (computer originated world). To me it still looks pretty good considering its age.

There was a clock made and installed but the decision not to use it was last minute if I recall correctly, I think it used to say so on TV Ark.
