I consider myself to be a fairly tech savvy gen-xer, I’ve been in IT for over 25 years but I have struggled to get my arms around AI and where and when it can be useful. This is a fantastic, accessible explanation of how AI works, where it comes up short but also where it can be helpful.

Saturday, I went to a fundraiser organized by a Black creator, at a Black owned bar on H street in NE DC, 1 mile from the Capitol. I parked on the street, walked to the bar and socialized with a crowd of 200 Black people. I felt safe, I had fun. 🧵🪡

Is anyone talking about the shuttering of USDA facilities in Maryland would free up a huge amount of land that can be bought by billionaire investors to make billions more dollars? Add the NASA Goddard facilities and that’s almost 8,000 acres right outside DC. So much grift.

Most of my career has been spent in the federal financial aid world and I have worked closely with and at Dept of Education. This is such a disservice to anybody pursuing post-secondary education. Shame on the Trump administration.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.
