Saturday, I went to a fundraiser organized by a Black creator, at a Black owned bar on H street in NE DC, 1 mile from the Capitol. I parked on the street, walked to the bar and socialized with a crowd of 200 Black people. I felt safe, I had fun. 🧵🪡

I recently signed up for a painting class (I’ve never held an artist paintbrush in my life). Letting go of perfection has been hard and I’ve wondered if this just wasn’t my thing. I attended the Kilmar Abrego Garcia hearing. The judge ruled that he be returned to the US no later than 11:59pm on Monday April 7th. The attorney for the gov’t admitted Garcia should not have been sent to El Salvador. This administration is a clown show.

A simplified explanation of a complex concept. Maybe it might help anyone who is dealing with friends and relatives who don’t understand why the US is investing in this war.
