The real conversation everyone should be having about social media is who controls the data. It shouldn't be a corporation that has ownership over your identity, words, ideas, voice, who you see or who you talk to. Data belongs to you, it is created by you and should be owned by only you.

There’s a story that Henry Rollins tells about a guy in Los Angeles who’d go around and pick up stray dogs. He take a dog and put it in a barrel of water until it nearly drowned. Then he’d pull the dog out and it would think he’d rescued it.

The one thing I really loved about the Harris/Walz campaign is the joy. He ran on hate and she ran on joy. What an amazing gift to all of us.
