Please don't follow if you don't know me/aren't an eminence whom I've followed. Me? West Aussie, late diagnosed AuDHD, uni art student, wildlife carer, indie music dabbler, book/food/cake/travel/dance/language fiend, she/her, still COVIDing.
Also, I feel mentally, physically and emotionally so much better. And my nails are glossy and strong! And I have a shiny nose and waggy tail! Ok, the last bit might not be true...

Then Hawke and Keating destroyed Gough's legacies of free tertiary education for all & sold off publicly-owned essential services. All Labor governments since have continued in the same vein, adding in undermining bulk billed medical access and defunding tertiary institutions & e.g. the CSIRO.

Could we also see how many are lost through e.g. funding cuts to public universities, the CSIRO etc?

When I last voted, the results showed there were over 7,000 empty residential properties in my electorate alone. If laws were brought in to prevent perfectly habitable properties from being left empty there would be no housing problem!

Who do you vote for instead? I mean, I don't put the ALP first, but I'm certainly not going to preference them below the coalition. Sadly, as we have two major parties that are practically conjoined twins policy-wise, there are no viable alternatives.

This. It is particularly disappointing that Albanese calls himself Labor left. Left of what exactly? Certainly not of centre.

OOF!

I'd love it on a t-shirt :)

Apologies for my nosiness, but I love picking brains about art. Am I right in thinking you start with pencil, ink in (which pens, btw?) then tone/tint with watercolour?

Singapura! I feel like a failed crazy cat lady not having heard of the breed :D Beautiful, with that Abyssinian-esque spicy colouring.

Fab! I love your subtle and sparing use of watercolour, a medium of which I am terrified :D

I still hear nightmare stories of women & teenaged girls seeking diagnosis being told they can't possibly be autistic because they are able to love (!!!), can be occasionally sociable etc. There are many dinosaurs left in the diagnostic field, and, of course, a massive shortage of diagnosticians.

A little surprised "female" or female at birth isn't there, though I guess recognising less obvious, "male" traits is improving. I was diagnosed 2 years ago, in my early 50s, due largely to me realising I am autistic despite presenting very differently to my dad & brother, and seeking diagnosis.

Sadly, 'no contact' lasted a bit over a week. At least, since then I've often had others with me when around her. Even then she will drop the mask eventually and be nasty/abusive to me. Sigh. Hopefully, with guidance from #carersWA, I will learn how to protect myself better.

TIRED arses, though they are probably also werd after the 17-hour flight which landed at 5am. Waiting for our rather fabulous Kensington hotel room to be available. A bit under three hours to wait...

Gotta say, that's cheaper than at Perth Glory (Western Australia) women's matches (I don't attend the men's matches for... many reasons) but at least the food at the Sam Kerr Football Centre is MUCH better quality!

This. If it's going to impact you, you are the problem.

Oops, I just saw this. Probably silly question, but is there likely to be another/more? I have my first plan and am part way through an FCA. And nervous!
