Ginger snippet A20-01 "Mr. Harrington! Please sir, can you hold on just a second?” Steve glanced behind him toward the voice. His festive intern was running at him, bells on their sweater jingling obnoxiously, as they tried to tie their scarf around their neck. Steve started to get in the car when his driver gasped and looked behind him. Steve turned back only to have the intern slam into him, gripping him tightly and almost pulling him down. Steve not so gently removed their hands from his jacket and brushed himself off as if to clean himself up. “I’m so sorry Mr. Harrington,” the intern gasped out. It was obvious they were mortified. “Can I ask you a favor? I see you have a car, I was hoping you would give me a ride home. We stayed so late and the busses-” “We stayed so late, because you felt you didn’t have to complete *your* tasks properly,” Steve interrupted. The intern stopped and eyed Steve for a moment before continuing. Their voice suddenly became less sure and quieter. “Right. Well, I missed the last bus and I wondered if-” “I think it would be quite inappropriate for me to drive you home. I believe we’ve spent enough time together, don’t you think?”

Ginger snippet A16-01 “Steve Harrington, you beautiful bastard, you did not.” “I did.” – “When did you get that?”, They’re both lying chest to chest on their couch in their little house, watching Golden Girls, when Robin sits up, straddling his stomach and grabs at his arm to get a better look at the tiny bird that’s on his wrist, just above her name. “Like a week ago? Just wanted it to heal a bit before showing you.” He tries to get his arm back, but Robin entangles her hand with his, lining up their soulmarks. He starts playing with her rings as he looks at her intently. She meets his eyes with tears in hers. “We were supposed to get them together, you asshole,” she smiles as she punches him in the arm with her unoccupied hand. “Fuck, it’s so beautiful. It’s perfect.” “Just like you.” He grins. “Ew.” “Shut up, you are. I wanted to surprise you.” “Well, consider me surprised.” She’s still staring at the little Robin, loosening her grip to cradle his wrist and give the bird a little kiss. “I love her so much,” she smiles and looks up at him again. “I love you, Dingus.” He pulls her into his arms and drops a kiss to her head. “I love you, too. So much.”

6am #steddie thoughts: omega Steve, whose scent isn't sweet. It isn't any traditional scents for an omega, in fact. Baked bread. Vanilla. Peaches...all those ones described in poetry and songs.

He presents after the events of s1, his omega traumatized and in survival mode.

His scent is gasoline.
