Congrats to @edclin.bsky.social on winning the @thestranger.com endorsement for D2! We talked walkable neighborhoods over tacos during our Corner Store Crawl, and I found him to be thoughtful and forward thinking. It's a good field this year though, and I hope they all get involved in public service

Having delivered 4 babies, I think @thestranger.com reference to Seattle Process as a “birth canal” is apt

Congratulations SEA on a tentative agreement!
I couldn’t make it out to the SEA rally tonight - but I’m glad @viviansong.bsky.social and @edclin.bsky.social did! Vivian has been a strong ally to the labor unions represented at Seattle Public Schools, one big reason I support her for school board.

Came across this sign on the way home from a dr apt — which started me thinking how it’s wild it is that we have this cultural norm that hearing children should always watch out for adults driving cars. Especially on small, low traffic streets like this. Why shouldn’t the onus always be on adults?

Even Pike Place Market workers are tired of the excuses now:
"We can have a key card system with bollards that come up and down like so many other markets do not only in the US but all around the world” said market worker Michael Torgerson.

Sledding was fun and all, but now it's time to watch the hearing for SB 5593 - Adjusting enrichment levies and local effort assistance. The hearing was earlier today.
