Found myself watching an AZPM piece on agave, and remembered a picture that was taken recently along the road up to Rice Peak. The color and location means it's an agave chrysantha.

For a number of years I had an april fool gag set up on twitter, where I scheduled a tweet for april 1st saying "actually I'm still alive". Then, if I was still alive on march 31st I'd make sure to reschedule the tweet for the following year.
