I think it’s high time for all those substackers to get together and publish something like a joint venture. We used to call this a newspaper. There’s now way even I can afford to follow you all separately. 😅
Don't hate me but I've started a (free) substack. A sort of political journal to try and make some sense of it all. So here is the first one- why Farage may yet emerge from this humiliating day in a stronger position than before.

Do subscribe !

And free to read at this link!
This is a superb piece of writing and analysis by @stephenkb.bsky.social in which he takes apart Tory opportunism and pandering to Elon Musk over the grooming gangs and compares it to Farage’s consistent red line on Tommy Robinson. Compulsory reading.
Good morning. I hope you were able to have a good restorative break. My thanks to Jim, Robert, Miranda, Lucy, Jen, Jude, Chris and Georgina for minding the fort while I was on holiday.

A country on the rack of Tory Brexitism. New post on my Brexit & Beyond Blog. Flipping from 'centrism' to populism, Sunak's depthless leadership is the latest episode in the Tory 30 year war to which they have yoked the country: chrisgreybrexitblog.blogspot.com/2023/11/a-co...

This entire article is misconstrued and ignores that this was her responsibility 85 hours ago.

But the views laid out here to exclude entire domestic/intl charters of human rights is so dangerous, let alone from the previous Home Sec.

It is not hyperbole to say this is a step into authoritarianism

Tory right: Give us all of what we want.

Leader: Here. Don't hurt me.

Right: It's not enough, need more

Leader: ok.

Right: This is a pittance. Need impossible amount. NOW.

Leader: But that's impossible. Can't you be satisfied with what I gave you already

Right: You never gave us anything.

UK Govt highlights the smooth intro of the Windsor Framework & the new EU measures being added to Annex 2 (without NIA oversight) to increase pressure on the DUP to return to power sharing. Lots of lead in time and staggered implementation seems to have made a difference for the WF:
