Playing It Takes Two for the first time with my partner and the game play is fun but the characters clearly hate each other and are just the most awful people/parents that it’s legit difficult to stick with it. Please tell me it gets better?

Craftiverse 🧶 I’m on the hunt for inspiration on hand and slab building pottery projects, something other than just a plain plate, bowl, mug type items. Any suggestions on where to look, or maybe search terms that I could use?

The spoon theory never really clicked for me, but what does click is thinking of my tasks as cantrips & spell slots like the D&D addict I am. A shower? That’s maybe a second level slot. Oh you want me to wash my hair? Sorry we’re gonna have to upcast by at least two levels.

I went to two separate stores to shop for a cane today. These are stores that specialize in mobility aids and home health supplies and market as “come see the experts”. Neither store was able to provide any meaningful assistance and just directed me to the handful of canes they had in store.

I recently started a pottery wheel for beginners class. It’s not hard to tell which was the first 😂 but I am excited to see the visible progress. This week we’re trimming then some hand building, which I have done a little of before, so open to suggestions on interesting beginner ideas!

Apparently instead of being sorted into houses or courts or whatever it’s fungi and honestly I think this should probably carry over to regular interactions in some capacity.
Ganoderma over here! Anyone else? We’re a whole genus.

Are high level D&D campaigns really that rare? I’ve seen a handful of references to it this week and I can’t tell if it’s a meme or true because I play in or DM three games a week.
A new campaign is level 4, another is 19, and the game I DM is 15. Is my friend group just the outlier?

The campaign I DM is well into its third act now, so I’ve started thinking about what the next campaign will be and the early stages have me excited. I absolutely love the homebrew setting we play in now, but I can’t wait to build another whole world with my friends 🥰
