Playing It Takes Two for the first time with my partner and the game play is fun but the characters clearly hate each other and are just the most awful people/parents that itโs legit difficult to stick with it. Please tell me it gets better?

The spoon theory never really clicked for me, but what does click is thinking of my tasks as cantrips & spell slots like the D&D addict I am. A shower? Thatโs maybe a second level slot. Oh you want me to wash my hair? Sorry weโre gonna have to upcast by at least two levels.

So anyway, if any disabled or chronically ill Canadians have suggestions on where to buy a nice looking cane, preferably with a palm grip handle but any sort of ergo grip will do, Iโm taking recommendations! Alternatively Iโll take advice on how to decorate/customize one that is plain coloured.

I went to two separate stores to shop for a cane today. These are stores that specialize in mobility aids and home health supplies and market as โcome see the expertsโ. Neither store was able to provide any meaningful assistance and just directed me to the handful of canes they had in store.

I could talk about this world and game for hours. The PCs, NPCs, and world have such a special place in my heart, and while I will miss it (at least, until we go back for a one shot) I am really looking forward to what the next world & adventure with this party becomes.

The BBEG was Kalinda, a celestial here to save the continent by burning it to the ground and starting over. She gathered a small but dedicated and highly skilled followers called The Acolytes. In the end it was close, with some players going down but not dying, and the party was victorious!

I'm a huge fan of player fuckery- taking liberties for something interesting/entertaining. In this game some gems were one PC being the foremost expert on starfish, the party getting matching magical tattoos from a goblin named Teak, and starting a shipping business which, naturally, they unionized.

I recently started a pottery wheel for beginners class. Itโs not hard to tell which was the first ๐ but I am excited to see the visible progress. This week weโre trimming then some hand building, which I have done a little of before, so open to suggestions on interesting beginner ideas!
