My dad lives in one of those new build HOA neighborhoods in Texas and the HOA won’t even approve him putting in raised beds in his backyard for veggies lol

I think the difference is that developments back then were actually thought out and now they’re just all built super quickly and they’re ugly and made of cardboard but cost $750k

Honestly, it depends. Our little area has kind of the same few designs, but they’re pretty tasteful colonials and they’re not built on top of each other. But the whole neighborhood was built in the 60s, a lot of these new developments are just really tacky and disgusting.

Ah that’s all fixable though and I’m tired of looking at stupid cement block buildings
