On New West's (pretty good) plan to build a comprehensive bike network rather than piecemeal additions. Kudos to Patrick Johnstone for championing this vision.

Ten days after a driver killed a cyclist in East Vancouver, another cyclist was hit & injured today at Broadway & Victoria, on one of the busiest bike routes in the city. This intersection has had 154 crashes in the past 5 years, including 6 with cyclists & 2 with pedestrians. 1/
