Judge Howell is not one of "these judges." She's a good jurist. I just think she got this wrong. Or at least, if she's right, the imperative for Congress to erase this power becomes even higher.

I think there is a good argument that under this reading, imposing such a loyalty oath on any entrants might be permissible.
Right like under that reasoning why couldn’t Trump require a personal oath of allegiance to him
