The American Bar Association has just called upon every attorney, regardless of their political views, to join them & stand up for the rule of law & at minimum insist that our government "follow the law."

Every lawyer has an ethical responsibility to do so.

Cassidy—a doctor—has violated his Oath and is a yes on Kennedy.

Kennedy is now almost certain to be confirmed.

People will die because of this; Kennedy at DHHS will cause deaths, full stop.

The crazy thing is, no one even doubts it.

But also no one cares, so here we are.

I think it's only a matter of time before you start seeing disease outbreaks spreading in the US. With global travel, you need global communication - without it, you open yourself up to learning about infectious diseases only when you start seeing cases yourself.
Since taking office the Trump administration has put the CDC on a "communications pause," announced its withdrawal from the @who.int, & ordered #CDC not to interact with WHO. News that there may be a new #Ebola outbreak in DRC underscores why these moves are unwise. www.statnews.com/2025/01/28/p...

Why is this important? This policy increases job insecurity for federal employees in policy-making roles, pressuring them to align with political goals or risk termination. It discourages dissent, whistleblowing, and independent expertise, fostering a politically driven federal workforce.

The Trump administration’s rebranded Schedule F policy aims to reclassify federal employees in policy roles as at-will, removing civil service protections. This will politicize agencies by allowing dismissals based on political alignment.

Trump is offering all federal workers a buyout with seven months’ pay to shrink the government—but that’s not the whole story. Reports reveal some employees are being pressured to resign or face termination under the guise of organizational restructuring. In short: take the buyout or be fired.
