How can someone say they want to keep a space only for a single biological sex not be anti-trans? The proof of their intention would be to ask if they would allow hypermasculine trans men into that space.

As UK gender critical groups gather to tear themselves and each other apart, there is a broader 'silver lining'.

A year ago few people had really engaged with a trans person. Now they cannot miss us and mostly they see an unjustly victimised minority of decent people trying to live peaceful lives.

I can't help feeling that this has become something other than the good news story that trans people first imagined.
Naming Caitlyn Jenner one of their women of the year in 2015 stirred up the transphobes. Now they have 10 reasons to get madder than ever

"69 months!"
"No Skipper 6 to 9 months."

The delay in part has been that the EHRC did not accompany its guidance with an equality impact statement as it must.

It then produced one in just a few days. Perhaps, a few days was too hasty for such a complex issue.

Unable to provide a clear path for gender transition, which has resulted in a 30+ year waiting list in England, the NHS is now investigating a 'detransition' pathway for all those it has spectacularly failed.

The consultation can be accessed using this link.

The anti-trans rhetoric is relentless. In a letter to The Guardian, Baroness Faulkner has again asserted that the EHRC guidance brings clarity.

That guidance has been deleted from the EHRC website, a move that caused confusion NOT clarity.

Chp.1 notes extreme feminists define women as those born with female sex organs and have been oppressed throughout life.
My transition was delayed 40 years due to societal not patriarchal oppression. I then lost my job, now face a gender pay gap and am excluded by much of society. Oppressed enough?

When George Orwell wrote 1984, or Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 did they really conceive their allegories would become manifest as one reality in the land of the free?
And yes I have quite the library of 'banned' books.
