I'm a little weird, just like everyone else.

Have also been known as 'Viqsin' on sites where my more usual 'Viqsi' is taken.

I think I'd actually watch a lot more basketball if I didn't feel like every game was going to end with 15 minutes of timeouts and fouls
How about don’t be down 3 with no time left? I don’t think there should be a special rule for up 3.

Now if we want to talk eliminating “the foul game” entirely, that’s a convo I’m willing to have.
Fouling up 3 is smart but I'm not here watching cause I wanna see someone be good at math. Make it an intentional foul that's 2 shots and the ball and it goes away immediately.

A helpful thing to remember, or at least it has been for me: in hard times, there will be discrete moments—maybe lots of them—where you experience love and joy and community. It is no sin to enjoy them, and arguably more of one to refuse them.

Elon Musk’s approach to flouting the law "is to brag about how he is an Übermensch to whom normal laws do not apply. So far this has worked out for him." But there's a populism that will make it harder for that to work out.

There’s another current of populism rippling beneath the surface in America. Someone is going to find a way to harness it.

“It’s very, very rare for anybody to change their mind about political issues. But they do frequently change their mind about the people on the other side."

This is why I fight like a demon to keep in contact with folks of all stripes.

This explains why conservative fear-mongering is such an easy play in America.

Been admittedly avoiding this site (registered an account just to make sure I had my name this time as opposed to what happened on Twitter, than ignored it), but it seems like more and more folks are showing up here, so, hey, what the heck. Let's try it.
