If you think about it, SOOW being post-the SBSP movie is thematically interesting, because in the first movie Plankton, as Bikini Bottom's ruler, turns into a lawless apocalyptic wasteland... which happens to the town again in the second movie, except now Plankton's on the OTHER side of the deal
