Coast of Oregon today...
White sea foam suggestive of the form of a baby seal slumps in the foreground in the liminal space between beach and retreating tides, the sky at sea faded to white on the right and back to pale blue over the green-clad cliffs of the left. A mottled orange crab shell seen from above in the sand seems to project a runneling set of lines to the right from its small declivity, but this is just the action of the surf, using the shell to leave a message about the currents. A roughly triangular beach rock the size of a walrus with a frame of greenush tinged crinkled stone at top and then a middle of smoother white vaguely in the shape of a stomach, with a rich red stippling at the lower right. a rock like the sea mossed top of someone's head encrusted with limpets along the side, the green that of some opulent golf course
