It’s my first time entering Elimination in Torn. It’s interesting because I’m now on one of twelve approx. 1500-player teams of randos all vying to be the last team standing. How much time and resources do I devote to an unlikely victory?

Received scans from a roll of film that had been sitting around since 2008. These were from my short time staying in Portland, OR. Camera was a Mamiya C330. Film was probably Kodak something or other.

Maybe it’s silly but I feel some relief from being able to do this again for even a couple hours/day without the discomfort being too steep a barrier to getting started. If happiness will never be my thing then I will take a little more peace of mind.

When the windchill is low enough that being outdoors feels like resting your forehead against an ice block (the physical manifestation of taking -1 hp in cold damage)

I was able to work a little on this again for the first time in a while. My arm and shoulder are holding up much better thanks to the occupational therapy. I am encouraged by this recovery of some stamina. Will be a while before I’m spending 8 hours a day with my arm in the air again though.

I found three rolls of exposed 120mm film I must have shot who knows how long ago. I had 2 rolls I recently shot in my desk drawer so I put them all in the same shipment to The Darkroom. I also found some unexposed 35mm film rolls.

Seeking recommendations: cat-friendly house plant(s) for an east facing kitchen windowsill. Cheddar is a really good kitty and never (to my knowledge) jumps on the food prep counter, but just in case he ever does, would like it to be something that won’t sicken him if he samples it.
