I can’t believe its been over 5 months working at BBC Radio 1, 1xtra and Asian Network’s Newsbeat! 🎙️📻

It was an absolute privilege to be part of a media panel yesterday at the University I fell in love with media at, The University of Manchester.
I remember when I was a student there and I attended a similar event, meeting an investigative journalist (I even bought and read his book!)

I’ll be looking after weekends, I’m really excited to get started.

I spoke to people who spent £400 per ticket to see Oasis, who flew from Australia, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Croatia, who were going three times, who left their country of Japan for the first time ever to see Oasis, it was incredible. I also appreciated the bucket hat one interviewee gave me 😂

Yesterday I spent the day in Manchester’s city centre interviewing people who have travelled far and wide to see the Gallagher brothers united again. It felt like reporting on a piece of history - all for BBC Radio 5 Live’s Wake Up to Money programme.

Had fun reading the news today for BBC Radio Manchester from 7-12pm! It’s always exciting to have a live cricket hit in your sports bulletin too 🏏
