These are amazing, SO beautiful. Is it just me or is there a bit of Michael Caine in that grave scene Scrooge? I *love* the endpapers.

#WriteCBC The lounge was more like a dentist's waiting room; hard, bright surfaces, sharp angled chrome furniture, cold white light. But behind the stinging scent of bleach something else lurked, catching in her throat, recalling a memory of biting into a crisp apple, only to find the centre rotten.
