I love this, thank you for sharing! I volunteer at a GS summer day camp and want to incorporate this with the teen leaders I help train. 💚

I read Heather Cox Richardson's post after the "deal" was struck and found it interesting. FYI.

It was a calm & cozy story about a different, calmer world than this one. It was pretty short. I liked the main character's work to find meaning in life, and the unexpected relationship of the 2 main characters.

These are so great! I was a costume mom for a long time, but I never knit one. Mostly sewing and one cardboard geometric duck head. My youngest is 17 & this year's costume was "please buy me some overalls so I can be a Mario Bro." I want to make a photo book of all the Halloweens... soon.

When I was growing up in the 80s-90s in a large family, my mom would buy the cheapest brand of boxed mac & cheese. Our family's name for it was "yellow death."

I was taught as a botany major that 95% of flowering plants are monoecious aka they have both sexes on one plant.

I can't remember for sure if it was after or before my mom died, but a friend came and sat at my table with me and worked on her personal stuff while I finished writing my mom's obituary. It was so comforting to have her there.
