I hate knocking on a bathroom door when I know someone is in there, it's mutually miserable, but I would LOVE if I could discretely give them the light à la cueing a comic to wrap up their set

I don't have the stats to formally confirm that most of the people at the Deltron 3030 show were dorky 40ish white dudes, but I can confidently say it was the kind of crowd where I, a dorky 40ish white woman, was dancing better than anyone in my immediate vicinity

no one asked me if I'd rather be immune to modesty or to smudges, but as it turns out, the only thing standing between me and wearing mesh shirts absolutely everywhere is the fact that it's kinda hard to clean my glasses on them

maybe I wouldn't have slammed a $7 concession stand red bull had I known I'd get to sit all night but at least the server was mildly amused ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
arrived at The Damned show to discover the GA section is unexpectedly SEATED, and i can't be alone in feeling offended the venue assumes the audience is old, but also kinda relieved
(last time I saw these guys Captain Sensible fell off the stage so maybe he'll get a chair too)

i thought about my first "meaningful" tattoo for ages, ended up hating it/planning on covering, didn't even consider another for decades. in the past couple years i've spontaneously added 3 more, they're all VERY dumb, zero regrets
not all tattoos are supposed to be good, and it should in fact be a rule that for every 2 you get, 1 has to be something you sigh about and then say "okay so keep in mind i was still drinking a lot at the time"
