Rachel got this right. Pretty soon we will have to have an entirely new news source made up of the amazing voices MSNBC has gotten rid of.
Maddow: I think it is a bad mistake to let Joy Reid walk out the door. It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we've got two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend. I do not defend it.

I fell for Anne Tyler a very long time ago. In one of her books a fellow was warned not to eat the family turkey because of how it was cooked/not cooked. It reminded me of my MIL's food when dementia had taken hold of her.
