Ultimately, anyone who says that Joe Biden was too left wing but not too old is a joke. His age was the #1 issue. Everyone knew it. Ideology doesn’t factor in. Biden was just too damn old

This article pissed me off because it's a Republican who worked for Boehner and Ryan when they got rinsed by the tea party. The tea party's generally gotten its way though, so I must believe that this author is afraid democrats will get the same.
Opinion | Democrats Are Playing With Tea Party Fire
If Democrats don’t get a better grip on what is achievable in Congress, they will fall victim to the infighting that has long plagued Republicans.

Had the modern democratic leadership led the Republican party in 1860, they would've passed an amendment mandating slavery in every state

I know it’s because I’m in a bad mood, but I genuinely want to see people start suffering for their dumbass beliefs. Your child who you didn’t vaccinate and die? When are we going to tell that parent that they’re directly and uniquely response for their kids death?

I wonder how UHC leadership is thinking right now. Hopefully, they're shocked by the number of people who said "good, let's do it to all insurance company CEOs"

Boo hoo center-right Republicans who never vote for democrats didn't switch their votes like in 2016. This is clearly progressivism's fault
My anger toward the progressive left will not die.

They thought they were being edgy intellectuals in withholding their votes from Hillary Clinton - because they did not agree with every one of her positions.

They put in motion the disaster we all suffering.

Everyone panicking about how America's taken a sudden conservative shift needs to consider that "what if the next 4 years are worse?" If Trump has a great 2nd term then maybe. But if he fucks it all up? People will feel like they've been fooled twice

This is literally one of the oldest debates in American history, and the answer is clear: we keep the national debt going. Deficit spending is a feature of the American monetary system and has since the Washington administration
America isn't "headed for bankruptcy," no matter what South African Michael Scott says here.

But if he's really concerned about the federal government's balance sheet, he should urge Trump to raise taxes on individuals like him and businesses like the ones he owns. Problem solved.

The US basically suffered a great depression in every decade from 1810 to 1940, and if people need a little pain to relearn why regulations and financial controls exist then we're very much in the attitude of "you fucked around, time to find out." -OS
