Legit the only reason I have the inkjet printer I have now is because my old one died and I still had a whole bunch of ink cartridges that I bought on sale, and I was determined to not lose the cartridge money. Next printer will be a laser.

You’re reminding me that between my freshman and sophomore year at UB, they wired the dorms for (very basic) cable that included MTV, and we spent SO MUCH TIME watching this show crowded around tiny dorm room TVs.

That’s a pretty close trick to the one I was there for!!

…anyway, I can’t remember if it was a school or camp group, but like half the audience was part of the group, so lots of us got to go do tricks. One of my friends got levitated.

I’m mostly joking but I do think the psychological effect of rejecting British tea as part of our national origin story has ripple effects on people’s feelings about it.

I use gmail but I don't use the gmail app (other than to turn off settings like this). the native apple mail app (on all devices) has pretty good categorization these days so if you have apple products, you can just pipe your gmail there.

(waiting for the shoe to drop that apple is doing this too)

one of my favorite videos is his big walk, and lots of people are thrilled to see him, but there’s one guy about halfway through who has an absolute joy meltdown and I can’t help thinking about that at times like this.

Glad I could help!

I noted this for someone else, but if you're in the apple ecosystem, you can use the native apple mail app to replace at least some of those filtering features while not having to ditch your gmail address completely.
