“I need to learn ______ before my meeting in 8 hours, and I have a 5-hour drive there. Summarize the information in these 20 resources into a podcast I can listen to on the way,” could actually be useful for many people. However, that’s not a mass market podcast as we know it.

The pitch is that you can monetize them, but I think most people will use them to create one-offs about a subject they need to learn but don’t want to research for whatever reason. The ones I’ve encountered so far are obnoxious and grating to listen to though.

A weird side effect of Mar-A-Lago face that has impacted me professionally is that it is surprisingly difficult to tell if lip sync is off when QCing video because of it sometimes.

The further into the robot/AI world we get, the more it feels like we’re trying to over engineer our way out of previous bad design decisions. We’re creating (ro)bots to use software and do things that humans made and then decided were too cumbersome to use efficiently on our own.
