Introducing myself! Name's Katie. I'm a software engineer who draws sometimes, mostly digital art. My art usually focuses on humanoid, cat, or Pokemon characters. I am lazy and I have no clue how to use Bluesky so this account may be fairly quiet.

Here's the second and final entry I made for youtube.com/@Subjectively 's Pokemon redesign contest! Hypno has always been weird and creepy, but not really in a fun way. I wanted to make that strangeness pop, while also amending its dex entry to be a little less... unfortunate.

Realized I should post the designs I did for youtube.com/@Subjectively 's Pokemon redesign contest last month! First up, Glaceon, a Pokemon I have always felt was very Meh. I decided to give it a more eye-catching focus with fur styled as winter clothes.

An easy way to explain luddites:
Textile manufacturers brought in machines that could do in an hour what would have taken 12 hours by hand.
And then, tried to keep paying the now 12x more productive workers the same wages as before.
That's it, that was the problem luddites had. Not complex.
