I don't have a strong singing voice, or very many followers on Bluesky, but this feels like a safe place to share this. Learning piano often feels really structured and creatively constraining, so this is a nice, undisciplined outlet for feelings.

Yesterday was Christmas tree day for us! We always get a real tree from the Tree Amigos in Graves Park in Sheffield. It's a little annual family ritual. If you look closely you can see the traditional flying pig on the top of the tree 🐖🌲

On the day of my PhD viva exam, I saw a heron fly over our garden. My amazingly creative and talented husband created this beautiful linocut print inspired by it. He has no idea how brilliant his own art is.
