NOAA/NWS did provide warnings while significantly understaffed, and not at all last minute. Municipal agents and Texan authorities failed to forward those warnings to their localities and are using "NWS is inept" to cover their failure.

They are blaming Biden currently and claiming the NOAA is useless and it’s good they gutted it. For some reason a bunch of folk claimed they didn’t send warnings- they did, but we gave them a propaganda and it was foolish af, so now MAGA is double against weather alerts 😩🙃

I hope these people are qualified and know how to help. When northern Colorado experienced a flash flood in 2013, organizations came from around the country. Some did more harm than good, especially when mold was involved.

This is beyond cruel, especially for young folks who are going through it. Cutting off LGBTQ+ youth from specialized suicide prevention help is a death sentence disguised as bureaucracy.

I have a lot of friends who are Colorado state legislators. They are dedicated public servants doing a job that demands long hours and not great pay because they care about the people of this state. Checking in and know I'm thinking about you and care about you.
